The Application is for a large sand quarry on Roughetts Road in the centre of Ryarsh village, between the M20 and A20, Birling and Addington, with Leybourne and West Malling to the East.
"The proposed quarry for the extraction of sand, alteration to existing access, together with infrastructure including haul road, ancillary offices, weighbridge, attenuation pond, bunds and mineral processing. Restoration by means of backfilling with imported inert materials and reinstatement to agriculture and biodiversity enhancement works."
